01

Dietary labels need context

Dietary requests need to be discussed for the individual cake. We may be able to exclude a requested ingredient, but traces can remain because our kitchen handles multiple allergens.

Tell us the exact ingredient or dietary requirement before ordering so we can explain what can be changed and where cross-contact may remain.

02

Put dietary details in the first message

State whether the request relates to an allergy, intolerance, coeliac disease, vegan preference or another ingredient restriction.

Ask about ingredients, cross-contact, decorations, fillings, product listing details, and whether the cake suits the exact guest.

Questions about this topic

Can you guarantee a cake is free from traces of an allergen?

No. Our kitchen handles multiple allergens in the same facility, so traces can remain. For severe allergies, it is safer not to order.

Should I ask about allergens before paying?

Yes. Ask before payment or production, and keep the answer with the order conversation.
